A short documentary about the history and significance of racial and ethnic diversity in children's literature. The film, commissioned by the Ezra Jack Keats foundation, includes interviews with several authors, librarians, activists, and other stakeholders in the world of children's lit. My primary role on the project was to draw and animate portraits of the interview subjects and some historical figures that serve to introduce them to the viewer.
